Can customers cheat a digital stamp card the way they stamp their own paper cards?
No. A stamp on a JustTap digital card can only be added by your staff scanning the card's barcode from the venue's phone or tablet, so there is no self-stamping and no borrowed hole punch. Every stamp is recorded with a time, which paper never gave you.
What happens when a customer loses a digital stamp card?
They almost never do, because the card lives in the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on their phone rather than in a pocket or a drawer. If they change phones, the card comes back with their wallet, stamps intact. Paper cards are abandoned mid-way; this one travels with them.
Do customers need to download an app to use a JustTap loyalty card?
No. A JustTap loyalty card installs directly into the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet already on your customer's phone, so there is no app to download and no account or password to create. Your customer fills in a short signup form once, and the card appears in their wallet in about twenty seconds.
Do customers join a JustTap program by tapping or by scanning?
Both work, and either one installs the same wallet card. The JustTap counter card uses NFC, so most phones join with a tap. The window poster carries a scannable code for phones that will not tap and for customers who would rather scan. Nobody gets turned away at the counter.
