Digital rewards cards for Australian venues

A digital rewards card earns your customer points toward a reward, stored in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Points suit venues where spend varies from visit to visit, because a $180 colour visit and a $45 trim can earn in proportion instead of counting the same.

What the card actually looks like

Every part of it is yours. Here is the anatomy, numbered:

YOUR VENUE

160 points to your reward.

YOUR VENUEMember

340 / 500 pts

RewardHalf-price visit
  1. 1Your name, your logo, your colours. The card is branded as yours, never as ours.
  2. 2The points balance. Bigger visits earn more, in proportion.
  3. 3The reward line. What they are working toward, always visible.
  4. 4The barcode. Staff scan it from a phone you already own; that is the whole till-side workflow.
  5. 5Push notifications come from this card, so your campaigns reach the lock screen without an app.

How a rewards card works in your venue

  1. 01

Your customer joins with one tap and the rewards card sits in their wallet, starting at zero.

  2. 02

Staff add points at each visit from a phone. Bigger visit, more points.

  3. 03

At the reward threshold, they redeem, and the card resets for the next round.

Every dollar is a point

A salon sets 500 points for half price off a treatment. The client on fortnightly blow-waves and the client on quarterly colour both get there, at a speed that matches what they actually spend.

Questions about rewards cards

What is the difference between a rewards card and a stamp card?

A stamp card counts visits: nine coffees, tenth free, and every visit counts the same. A rewards card counts spend as points, so a big visit earns more than a small one. Stamps suit fixed-price habits like coffee; points suit venues like salons where the bill varies.

Who decides what the points are worth on a JustTap rewards card?

You do, with us. During setup we agree how points are earned and what the reward threshold is, based on your margins and your average spend. We build it, you approve it, and it can be changed later without reprinting anything.

Do customers need to download an app to use a JustTap loyalty card?

No. A JustTap loyalty card installs directly into the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet already on your customer's phone, so there is no app to download and no account or password to create. Your customer fills in a short signup form once, and the card appears in their wallet in about twenty seconds.

Do customers join a JustTap program by tapping or by scanning?

Both work, and either one installs the same wallet card. The JustTap counter card uses NFC, so most phones join with a tap. The window poster carries a scannable code for phones that will not tap and for customers who would rather scan. Nobody gets turned away at the counter.
