How it works
A simple customer journey, with clear jobs on both sides
JustTap builds the system and agreed journeys. Your team invites customers, honours the offer and keeps the counter routine consistent. The wallet pass works beside your till, without requiring a direct point-of-sale integration.
- 01
Invite and join
At checkout, staff invite an eligible customer to join. The customer taps the counter card or scans the code, chooses to opt in and saves the branded pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. There is no separate loyalty app to download.
The staff invitation matters. A poster supports the process, but it does not replace a clear, consistent invitation from the team serving the customer.
- 02
Recognise the visit
Staff use a phone or tablet the venue already owns to apply the agreed visit, reward or membership step. The exact customer journey is set during implementation.
Nothing is wired into your point of sale. There is no integration to build, no approval to wait for from your POS provider, and no new hardware on your counter.
- 03
Create a reason to return
The agreed customer-return journeys send relevant messages to eligible customers who chose to hear from the business, such as a birthday offer, win-back reminder or quiet-day promotion.
We build and switch on the agreed journeys. Results still depend on the offer, customer response, staff consistency and operating conditions, so activity is reviewed rather than treated as a guarantee.
Step three, in detail
Four useful customer-return journeys
We agree what fits, then build and switch on those journeys during setup. Messages are sent only to eligible customers who chose to hear from the business.
Birthday
An eligible member can receive an agreed birthday offer at the right time.
Win-back
When a regular moves into a lapsing segment, they can receive a relevant reason to consider returning.
Expiring reward
A member approaching an expiring reward can receive a reminder before it lapses.
Quiet days
An agreed customer segment can receive a relevant offer before a quieter trading period.
Questions
Frequently asked questions about how JustTap works
Do customers need to download an app to use a JustTap loyalty card?
No. A JustTap loyalty card installs directly into the Apple Wallet or Google Wallet already on your customer's phone, so there is no app to download and no account or password to create. Your customer fills in a short signup form once, and the card appears in their wallet in about twenty seconds.
Do customers join a JustTap program by tapping or by scanning?
Both work, and either one installs the same wallet card. The JustTap counter card uses NFC, so most phones join with a tap. The window poster carries a scannable code for phones that will not tap and for customers who would rather scan. Nobody gets turned away at the counter.
Do I have to run the marketing myself with JustTap?
JustTap builds and switches on the agreed birthday, win-back, expiring-reward and quiet-day journeys that fit your venue. Your team still approves the offer and wording, invites customers, honours rewards and keeps the staff routine consistent.
Does JustTap work with Square, Lightspeed, Tyro or Zeller?
JustTap is designed to run beside systems such as Square, Lightspeed, Tyro, Zeller and Impos without a direct POS integration. Staff use a separate phone or tablet for the agreed loyalty step. The live demo lets you verify that workflow against your own counter process before proceeding.
How long does it take to set up a JustTap loyalty program?
The launch plan is agreed after the live demo and confirmed in writing for your venue. Setup includes the wallet pass, reward rules, printed joining points, agreed customer-return campaigns and staff training. Staff use a phone or tablet the venue already owns, so there is no new counter hardware to install.
