Apple Wallet and Google Wallet loyalty cards

A wallet loyalty card is a digital pass stored in a phone’s existing wallet. The customer does not need a venue-specific app, but the venue still needs an issuing system, a clear joining flow and a counter workflow.

A platform-neutral customer flow

  1. 01

    Join

The customer taps or scans, sees what they are joining and supplies the minimum information required.

  2. 02

    Add

The service presents the correct wallet option for the customer’s device and adds the pass.

  3. 03

    Use

The customer opens or presents the pass; staff follow one consistent earning or redemption action.

Do not force a platform choice

If your customers use both iPhone and Android, offer both wallet routes from the same joining point. Keep the reward rules and staff process identical so the phone brand does not create a second loyalty program.
